Been down the allotment this evening and now they're all at it, I'm wondering if Gojiberry has a point. I think I'll try keeping some pollen in the fridge.

The type is Luscious F1 - how much of a disaster would it be if I were to take some pollen off a neighbours corn when the time came? His are all far more in control of themselves.

They are wind pollinated and you would only worry about cross pollination if you were intending to save seed - so it sounds like you may have a solution if your neighbour's corn is close by.
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I was worried that I might get some kind of mutant inedible corn if I mixed one type with another; the seed packets carry dire warnings about planting one type next to another - especially with the supersweet - but hey, I'd already given up on a decent harvest so I'm looking to my neighbour as a pollen donor!

The proof will be in the eating!
