Yup- I think I've finally lost it
( and yup- I originally titled it 'Woked')
I've just spent 1 1/2 hrs cutting back my tomato leaves.
I've never been quite so brutal as this year as - to be honest- I've never really been confident how much to cut away
Having seen my neighbours plants and piccies on here- I finally decided to snip away at my 30 odd plants ( 2 wheelbarrow loads!!!!)
And so- having chopped away just under half of the bottom 2/3 leaves I can finally see the soil ( bush varieties) and realised that it's allowing the sun to get to the baby toms- and also allowing a gentle breeze ( hopefully not bearing blight spores
)
to pass between the plants so the leaves and fruit are less likely to rot..
So...do my toms 'Look good naked' as Wok ( or should I say GOK )would ask???...well ...they're not quite naked-but I feel I've done a good job even though it's probably not a perfect one
