Some brassicas to sow now...........

Bought some half price brassica seeds at Dobbies today! These are all to sow either now or soon.

• Spring Greens (Unwins) Sow from now til October
• Wheelers Imperial Cabbage (Suttons) Sow now til mid August
• Offenham 2 Flowers of Spring Cabbage (Suttons) Sow now til mid August
• Spring Hero F1 ballhead cabbage (Unwins) Sow August/September
• Red Drumhead cabbage (Suttons) Sow August

I also thought I would try a packet of Suttons Nero Di Tuscana kale, should have been sown earlier in the year but it can be used young in stir fries!
Had a good look around and at the back of the GC is a plant hospital with sickly looking plants in it, but priced accordingly. Bought a pale yellow/pink Heuchara, Yellow Achillia and white ox eye daisy all for 50p each and planted them in the lottie to thicken up. Should probably be able to sub-divide them next year giving me numerous more plants!
