It is just a seven foot strip down the side of the house with a fence on one side and the house on the other. at 3 foot wide we can run it continuously for the 30 foot without gaps and still weed and tend the plants.
It is also south facing, I know we will still get shading via the house and fence but it still gets a lot of sunshine for a good few hours.

We will see The other good thing we have in our garden, is a usable well. It will have to be pumped out by an electric pump, but it has got to be better than tap water? I would think.
