Although I have it covered with netting all the have been attacked by white butterflies. I see eggs on the back of the leaves. Dont know what to do about it. Any ideas?

Squish the eggs before they hatch as a matter of importance.
When you say you have netting, how fine is it? To keep cabbage white off you need it pretty fine and they can also lay though netting if the plants are touching it so you have to be careful.
