Hi just wondering what i can plant now, all my potatoes are out (earlys)seems a shame to leave the soil bare any ideas what i could plant??

I grow leeks to overwinter in the space vacated by the first earlies - pop up to your local garden centre for a tray of plantlets.
For some reason, I never have sown enough leeks in about April for planting out now (no idea why - there are about a zillion seeds in a packet, after all), and end up going cap in hand to Wyevale to spend a couple of quid on a carry-tray of about 300 seedlings, then end up giving half of the seedlings to neighbours.

You could sow a lovely crop of perpetual spinach that would last all winter.

I plant winter cabbage (my greenhouse sown and grown) plants in the space left from the potatoes.. i plant 4 differnt varieties to last from november till spring. Just put my early savoys in last weekend and i dig up the next row will plant more.
In the last of my main crop tattie space will go next years spring cabbage (sown this week)
