I must say i did notice that my cordon tomatoes growing against the south wall have produced all their trusses on the north side (facing the wall, where they're shaded, but also receive a lot of reflected heat). I was tempted to turn them so the fruit would get some sun, but then i discovered that this would increase the risk of greenback. That said, the bush tomatoes are producing trusses all over the place.

I have a bad habit of doing a similar thing with my Chilli plants, as soon as the petals start going brown and I can see there is a baby Chilli forming I have this overwhelming urge to remove the petals. There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those that understand binary and those that don't.

My cordons are on a south facing wall and i have the opposite problem, not enough toms at the back where it is more shady
