First it was the runners, then the celery and now the leeks....
I spent hours dibbing, trimming and popping my leeks in , even when the ants decided to swarm I carried on . I was proud of those leeks . They weren't the biggest leeks in the world but I'd grown them and nurtured them and now something has eaten them ............. to say I'm not happy about it is a slight understatement. Any ideas. ?
They were surrounded by a chicken wire fence with a net over the top.
