  • Late sowing

    Hey,

Sorry if this has already been asked i did a quick search and couldnt find anything.

Im wanting to start to plant some veg out and alot of it says that the last sowing is in July, i wont be able to get my raised beds and get the seeds by the end of the week.

Would it be possible for me to sow them out at the beginning of August? Im looking at mainly sowing peas, carrots and onions.

    Thanks for any help

I usually put my onion sets in about september so plenty of time for them.
All you'll waste is a bit of time and a few seeds so why not try it and see!
I'm going to make a sowing of spinach and winter lettuce in august too

Instead of waiting until your beds are ready could you start some things off in modules? Just a thought....at least then they're on their way.
