Two of my tomato plants have bent over with the weight and broken their stems. They are in the greenhouse and have reached the roof, they have loads of fruit on. I did have them tied back on to canes but the weight of all the toms must have pulled them over, all the fruit is still very green and varying sizes. I didn't have time to do anything this morning when I noticed them as I was running late for work. The only thing I can think of is bending the stems back up straight and tying them back up more securley and hoping for the best, I'm assuming the green toms will ripen anyhow and I can salvage the ones that are big enough. The fruit on the lower trusses will be ok? First year doing any growing and another lesson learnt for next year - tie them up better
