Nice looking pumpkin and still a bit of growing to do yet. I kept trying to grow a bigger one each year but never managed to get one bigger than 30lb, which is pretty pathetic when you consider the world record is around 1000lb. Have gone the other way this year and growing one called 'we be little' have already harvested 24 from 4 plants.
My "atlantic giants" are smaller than my "jack o lanterns" Jacks are sitting in a bean trench where as giants are just on a bit of muck dug in ground. Will make a pumbkin trench bed next year. or maybe compost heap or both.
Still jacks are about the size of small beach ballls and going orange. My DS is impressed which was all i was aiming for.
My pumpkin has turned into a giant marrow. I saved and sowed the seeds from last year's pumpkins (two). Methinks there was a bit of partying going on at pollination time!
Love the picture of your handsome pumpkin.
