Right - a little conundrum for you.
I am at the moment getting the materials together to make seed bombs at an event in September; for 50-70 kids to make and take home.
Materials; clay, compost and seeds. [for info this bit].
However, I am flummoxed as to how to get the little darlings to transport them home without ruining something or other.
It's a sustainability event; and thus I can't really use plastic bags; esp not if they have been bought specially for the event.
So, how does one transport wet seed bombs home, without the bombs disintegrating on the way? Or squishing out of whatever they get wrapped in and ruining mum's handbag or dad's trousers....
We don't have time to dry them off on the day before they take them home; as this was my initial thought....and it won't be me making them - it will be a young lady who is a presenter on Gardener's World; so I want it to be a quality event!
