Poor lad is still having problems getting on the Vine But I had an email from him earlier, asking me to post this on his behalf:

Just realised my spuds were on the Beechgrove garden when I was on holiday.
Fast forward to 26min and 30secs BBC - BBC One Programmes - Beechgrove Garden, 2010, Episode 19
They were all grown in the polypot system and the NVS Sherine produced over 5kgs from one potato. The potato was a minituber aswell. The Pentland Lustre produced over 3kg and the Swift was very poor at 1.7kg.

I thought I had better add that the video runs out in 4 days.

Congrats on that Tattieman, just goes to show, the hard work that you and the family put in is paying off

I grew Swift one year and was pretty unimpressed with them. Ulster Prince was my best First Early this year.

It has taken 7 minutes to load this page!!!
Nicos I am working on a european website just so I can send you the same seed potatoes to your door. Postage will be a shock to the system but it always is.
I will have to get the producers to make me a dvd of all the parts of the show where my potatoes are on and then I can upload it to my youtube channel.
I hope they might have some more potatoes on again soon.

What a hidden gem this progam is... I have added it to my fav list to watch online in future. Its far far better than the odd gardeners world i have seen.
