I was given a variety pack of 5 grafted tomatoes for my birthday in March this year (Dobies). They have done really well and produced an abundance of toms, small and large, plum and beefsteak, red and orange, and I've really learnt about tomato plants so am very pleased. Though I wouldn't put a picture of these toms on the vine as I didn't grow them from seed. I'm planning to get another pack next year again as they have been so good (and easy).
At the same time I also obtained three hundreds and thousands (cherry) tom plants which I've grown in a large hanging basket. I'm not impressed as although they have produced a lot of toms, they are so small and fiddly to pick. I'll give them a miss next year.

Shirley not? (whoops, that came from an old film!). Lovely shiny tomato there. How did it taste. I've never grown Shirley (it's an F1).Whoever plants a garden believes in the future.
