    ust got this months mag and it mentions skirret. A quick search showed that a few of you were going to try it last year.
    Did you try it? Did you like it? Is it worth it?

    Tempted by it, really like the sound of it!

    Never heard of it or grown it so will be waiting for your replies with bated breath to see if I will also have a go next year.

      Hmmm, according to my sources it was snadger, zaz, frostyfreckle, and snohare that were interested in it. Did it make it from your wish list onto a veg bed?

          I was interested too but the seeds were at Thomas something or other and I couldn't justify ordering more seeds from a different company...

            I bought 2 plants last year at a show - from Pennard. I'm leaving them to mature
            Think they sell seeds too

              I got seeds from Pennards waiting to be sown. Someone at my allotment grows it and apparently they're a bit fiddly to cook. As they are like long thin pencils- bit tricky to peal. I guess maybe you could give the skin a good wash instead? They do sound tasty though.
