Please, does anyone know how I can obtain some Tenderstem broccli seeds? I first grew broccoli (not the purple sprouting variety) in a little back yard garden 35yrs ago. It worked. Last year we grew purple sprouting (in a much larger garden) and it was as tough as old boots. There was a fair amount of humus in the soil and it was given a lot of water. Now I'm looking for what I can buy in the supermarket.

Have you tried the big seed companies? Dobies, Suttons etc?

Hello PTG! If you mean calabrese, Marshalls are selling plants ready to go in the soil this month along with lots of brassica collections. I'm not sure about the seed, wouldn't it be a bit late to start sowing now?
