    ....when its cold enough now that you have had to start putting your domestic heating on, yet you still have loads of green tomatoes trying to ripen outdoors or in the greenhouse

    The sweetcorn refused to grow, ditto the french beans, and the lottie is too wet to dig.

        the kids havent spent as much time outside playing and often destroying the crops with stray balls/feet but they havent grown all that well anyway....p.s. the crops not the kids that is

          ...you paid £40 for a barbecue, took it round to a friend's and have never bothered to go and pick it up again.

                Asda were selling large coolboxes for £1. 50 and round trolley barbecues for £2. 50 cos no-one bought them.
