Its been the best summer here for the last three years. Have had tons of toms and have had to continuously use the hose this year.
Will join the other few in the pub so.

And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

*sigh* This is soooo true up here too! Although we've had the heating on in August too, it's been so grotty.

you have been sleeping with a hot water bottle for at least a week!

(Our heating doesn't work at all, but I'd be loathe to put it on in September anyway!)

                            Went home early!!

Everything we had taken with us was just dripping... car was wet inside from everything being in there!

We got the snapped tent poles mended pretty quickly, and dried out the tent; however not sure how I feel about going next year! It's the worst we've ever had it in about 10 years of camping!

We lost our huuuuuuge lovely tent in a mini-hurricane a few years ago. Went back to a caravan after that!
