  • Green to Red

I have a mini green house full of green peppers.
I read some where that I can ripen these by up rooting them and hang in a cool place. is this correct or would I be better just removing and ripening individually

As soon as they show signs of frost damage you can do as you say and a proportion will ripen. Likewise with tomato plants!
If they are in pots, they could be taken indoors onto a windowsill and ripened that way.

I took mine ff the plants- and as they have turnd red they've also dried out.
I imagine that leaving them on the plant would encourage them to sweeten without shrivelling???????

I've done both, and as Nicos says, they are better if you can keep them on the plant and bring them indoors, but if you can't then cut them

Ileft them too late so the frost had them, but not wasted as I cleaned and chopped them while frozen and into the freezer. will use asap!
