I'm in the 'sceptical' camp myself Snadge (sorry Zazy), but for the cost of a tiny bit of compost, a few seeds and 5 minutes, I think its worth the experiment to see if the theory holds water , but I'll let you be my Yang on this one

ooh only just seen this and although I wanted to join in the onion trial last year, something happened and I missed the boat. Will sow some onions this afternoon.

OK I've sown one pot with a pinch of red and one pot with a pinch of yellow , nest week I'll do the same. They're on the kitchen windowsill with a cover over.......
