  • planting by the moon

Hello please can I ask for some advice.

I am new to planting by the moon and am unsure what category some of the veg belong to.
What group do such things as leek, florence fennel, celery and onions belong to.
All advice will be happily received
    thanks

It does not matter what our specific fate is as long as we face it with ultimate abandon.

    Hi Pumpkin Cuddler,
Instinct tells me that these things are roots as we eat more of that than the leafy bits, (that may vary with leeks I know, but essentially true I feel).
I've had a quick look through Nick Kollerstrom's book, but can't find any more specific advice.

Maybe you coud do an experiment - plant some at root times, others at leaf times and see which do best?
    Good luck.

      Hi Pumpkin Cuddler,

Leeks are considered to be Roots as are Onions and Celery and Florence Fennel are leaves.

      Hope this helps
