today in my spanky new heated windowsill prop (garland super7) i popped in-

      4x cayenne chillis

4x other chillis (not sure of name of them just says hot and spicy on the pack!)

      4x little gem lettuce

      4x iceburg lettuce

5x mixed lettuce leafs (from b+q all different coloured lettuces)

      5x Sweet basil

      5x Mint

      5x corriander

      5x chives

      4x Thyme

all a bit of an experiment really to see what i can grow-am hoping to do some tomatoes but worried in case it was too early-all will be going into a polytunnel with a (hopefully) frost free warmer thingy to keep em cosy, but will get some fleece as well to keep em extra cosy!

emptied the heated propegator of all the chillies that have germinated and repotted them all on the kitchen windowsill in john innes no1

just deciding what to sow now that it is empty

if you have any ideas i would appreciate the inspiration!!

currently got 3 types of toms and 4 5 types of chilli in pots
as well as some strawberries that i sowed in november and have held up well on the window sill.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand
        .

In readiness for summer hanging baskets, I've sown 48 modules each of Pansy, Calendulla & Nasturtium (far nicer than ivy in my opinion). All sown in seed compost.

Planted some onion sets into modules for now, just to get them going. When i have cleared an area down the lottie, and they have rooted nicely, i'll pop them in.

                      • Last week- leeks, carrots, salad leaves and marigolds, put in the unheated greenhouse. No idea if they will live, but I couldn't wait any lnger.

I also sowed some aubergine seeds into an unheated propogator inside... and it seems to have grown fungus instead. Whoops!

Off to sow some broadies direct in a bit
