But if you have a heated greenhouse then No Problem! (Light still a bit of an issue, but they would be OK I think - I expect commercial growers start them now, without lights)K's Garden blog the story of the creation of our garden

Cleaned out the greenhouse and brought all my Strawberry plants in and tidied them all up.
They are all showing some new growth so looking good for this season.
Last year I lost a lot of plants but no casualties this year.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Broad beans - Some planted in pots in a heated prop, some in an unheated prop and some sat in pots on the window ledge. Three different ways will hopefully show me some success
Its all new and its all fun!
Chillies - Cayenne in pots in a heated prop.
Garlic - Sown outside.
Toms - Both Red Cherry and Alicante in a heated prop.

I sowed 172 Ailsa Craig onions and 153 Ishikuro (spring onions) in seed trays and tucked them up in the airing cupboard. They're both old packets so I went a bit over the top, assuming the germination rate would be low. Not sure what I'll do if they all come up.The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.
