This morning i have 2 lemon drops and 1 venezuelan up. Hurrah!
Now to decide what else to put in the propagator...
btw, does anyone know if you can use a modern 23w power saving bulb which states it is equivalent to a 120 w old style bulb (1300 lumins) in a desk lamp that states you can use up to a 60w old style bulb? I presume the risk is the temperature build up with the old style bulbs - as the heat output is less on the new bulbs would it be ok?

7 seed trays of peppers, chillies and aubergines filling up every south facing window in the house here now! I've planted them on into 2" and 3" pots (ran out of 2" pots), so have between 22 and 18 seedlings per tray, so about 138 seedlings in total here!
Cant wait til its warm enough to get them into the backyard greenhouse, gonna need more space for the next batch of chilli and pepper sowings (late feb) and the tomato sowings (soon!)Blessings

what do you do with them when they are up?
my HP is full and i want to sow some more seeds....May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields and,
Until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Have a look at the link Zazen posted (the second one ) and there's some good ideas on lighting under "After Germination".
Hope that helpsCaro
