  • What is it?

I know this sounds strange and I don't think I'm the victim of a prank, but has anyone heard of Apple Rhubarb as a plant. Sounds like a great dessert name, but I'm assured by an ex-lottie owner in Lancashire that he had a plant of this growing on his Lottie when he took it on.

Please tell me such a plant exists.

Mmmm, sounds a bit funny mcsee. I've Googled it and all it comes up with are recipes for crumbles and cakes. I'd be cheeky and ask the guy for a cutting or a root so you could grow it for yourself. That's if you still see him.

There are a couple of rhubarb varieties with 'apple' in the name.
This supplier has listed some of them.

Thanks for that Jeannie, he did sound like he knew what he had growing, I guess I just doubted its name.
