I grew my Roma outdoors this year - and the Costoluto. They got blight eventually - but it wasn't till late in the season. Maybe it wasn't a bad blight year?
PAH! I got blight INSIDE the bladdy greenhouse!!!!!
When the Devil gives you Cowpats - make Satanic Compost!
For me - I would grow 1 costoluto mainly as the plants themselves are a bit of a random grower and with the same space, i can get 2 or 3 vine toms in there.
The French Blacks - not to keep bigging these up but they really are a wonderful tomato and well worth growing a few extra plants if you can squeeze them in.
Another vote for the tastiness of PW's French Blacks. I grew mine outside last year and they did very well, so you don't necessarily have to squeeze them into the GH
I was feeling part of the scenery
I walked right out of the machinery
My heart going boom boom boom
"Hey" he said "Grab your things
I've come to take you home."
If you are growing a tomato for making sauce then Amish Paste and Roma are very much the same, so you could choose one of these rather than growing two the same.
I grew Tigerella last year and was'nt overly impressed with it, so like a lot of others on here I would grow Sungold which is so tasty and gives a great crop.
Good luck with your choices as I go through this every year and always end up sowing too many and cramming in as many as I possibly can.
