Last weeknd was near tropical after the last wave of freezing weather! So set about clearing a nicesized patch for my onion sets! in our back garden, permission from er indoors of course
The plan was Sunday morning up with the early Robin and Blackbirds, dig over and top up with multi purpose compost and start planting, yes the patch was clear, just needed a good turnover and top up with soil-and new compo.
Well as the saying goes, the best laid plans of mice and men: What a frost we had overnight So will the sets be ok left in an unheated greenhouse, i
cleared out the manky ones put the best back in the packets and covered them up, how long can you leave them like that?? Help please.
