Sorry, not sure I understand what part you didn't understand, nor what you are looking for?

From the date that a Cauliflower is ready for picking you have two weeks (as a generalisation, it will be longer in Winter when its cold) to pick the crop before it is no longer any use

So don't sow more than you can eat (or are prepared to freeze) in a two week period, and sow some more little-and-often so you have them throughout the season.

Haha, I learnt that last summer! I've never eaten so much cauliflower in such a short space of time! I became a whizz in cauliflower cheese, that's for sure!

We did the same with summer PSB. Good thing we like it so much!

We're not growing Summer PSB this year - past two years we haven't used it all up as plenty of other veg coming on stream at that time, so only growing Winter/Spring PSB this year.

But if you love PSB then don't let me stop you!!

              have fun growing

Hello I totally agree with whats been said, write a list of what you would like to grow, then what I did was had a go at growing the basic veg and then each year I add on something new. unfortunatly I love vegtables so I'm finding it hard to fit everything in. When I grow carrots I dig out the area I want to plant and fill it with compost,I've had good results: this way.Hope u have fun..
