Am I Garden Pearl?

I ended up with a stray tomato plant growing in place of something else this season and I wonder if anyone can tell me if it's Garden Pearl as I've never grown it before. I think they're a pink even if it doesn't show in the photo.

At the risk of sounding like a cynic (well, I AM one!) if it tastes of nowt, it's Garden Pearl!

I have grown them in the past- and from that piccie I'd say more likely they're not.

Mine were smaller and they have a sort of translucent purpley tinge to their skin.

Slightly pearlescent, stay pink for a long time then turn red and over-ripe suddenly. Prone to splitting. Taste is insipid.
That's what garden pearl (or gartenperle) are like.

The only toms i have grown that have stayed pink are Thai Pink Eggs, but yours are the wrong shape for them

That's what I was going to say. Quite a mealy, powdery taste I thought,not pleasant.
Mine were the same colour as McSee's photo, but a lot smaller

Thanks everyone, I can rule out Garden Pearl as these taste good, but do not have the colour of yours Nicos. I'll just label them as unknowns, but I will grow them again. They don't set many fruit per truss which is another thing I noticed.

I grew Gartenpearl last year in hanging baskets (fruit were a lot smaller than those pictured) and they were delicious!

My post was asking about a tomato variety if you'd gone back to the first post, I don't see where that makes me 'different'.

I did not start a discussion about Garden Pearl, I asked if the tomato in the photo was Garden Pearl. I think your comments are out of line.
