I'm sorry I wasn't referring to yourself......I was actually referring to the fact that everyone was saying that garden pearl is tasteless apart from Snadge who said he found it tasty ....and I'm sorry that you have obviously misunderstood me and my sense of humour.
I will now take myself off with my tail between my legs and go and sit on the norty step

              Aaahh More of that humour.

I'm glad that they weren't Garden Pearl, but thanks for the comments. The Cherries in the photo were actually quite nice.
              I love growing tomatoes.

You mean Brit humour? We're famed for it

anyway, your tomato: it doesn't matter what it's called. If you like it, grow it. If you really like it, keep the seed every year and rename it whatever you like. Enjoy

...mcsee- you should see how some of the French react to British humour!!!!

Glad those toms were yummy- it's so disappointing to grow a plant from seed only to be disappointed in the produce.

I'd say 75% of my garden pearl split and went moldy within a couple of days of picking....some even whilst on the plant!

You're quite right Nicos about it being disappointing, with 6 months growing wasted when I could nave had something better growing in its place.
