    TOMATOES S to Z - Solana Seeds
Oh dear - another good heirloom seed site!! Thanks for the link (though my OH will not be happy - I think I now have over 30 varieties of tomato with only space for max 20 vines!) - some wonderful varieties there...

    cheers

I grew a large fruited Cherry here last season which had the name Siberian Cherry - a prolific producer of golf ball sized fruits. Not sure if available there or not.

However thats in a very sheltered south facing garden 2 miles from the coast in the south of the Isle of Wight so fairly warm in a UK wide sense.
We'll never match your weather but I do have one fairly sheltered spot in the garden, so I'll try it. Fingers crossed!

          Korall, red slicer
Latah, red salad type, quite sweet
Maja, Swedish early small salad type, nice
          Mobil, red salad type
          Scotia, red slicer, good flavour
Silver Fir Tree, red slicer, pretty foliage

I think I have saved seed (not bagged) of all of these if you need any for the schools
If you could pop just one or two in the envelope that's coming to you this weekend, the schools would love it - thanks!!! any one or two of those would be fab. I'll pop a couple of bags in there if that's ok.

          Love this place!

I grew Tumbling toms, both red and yellow last year, quite prolific, but not the tastiest I have tried. I wont bother with them this year

              A pleasure
Years ago I know, but when I was at school they had a kind of veggie plot which we were allowed to help with, which was fantastic.

I grew 3 hanging baskets mixed with Red and Yellow Tumbling Tom. More than we could eat (ie plenty to give to family too!) and good flavour for both colours. Maybe not the sweetest? But pretty good!!! Can't wait to get started for this year.

The opened pollinated Sungold I ordered from Canada last week, arrived today, I'll see what the germinations like later this month as I've got some earlier earlies to get started off first.

Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!

Have you sown any of these yet? How are they doing?

I've just ordered some as well to compare with the T&M Sungold F1 I've just sown.
