Good to know you got a decent crop from them.
The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

I got loads from armpits, but the ones that I had numbered got mixed up with the non-numbered and nothing got weighed.

Rofl. Kept us quiet for a while though, didn't it?

I still have some armpits sitting in water on my kitchen windowsill.

You should see the roots on them!

I started of well - but soon got too busy with everything else to keep up with the potting on etc etc ad infinitum.... I just thre some away that were still in their 1st small pots! Some did well though and I got a fair crop of tomatoes from them

Following the advice here it tried several armpits from my marmande. I planted them in the open in June and got 7 great vines each of which produced massive crops of super large and tasty toms.

Only tried with the marmande though. Big recommendation!
