Hello all!
Well I started off all my chillis, sweet peppers and aubergines last weekend in the propergator and most of them have now come up!
But the chilli seedlings especially seem a bit stoopid and are not rooting into the soil, more like sitting on top Some of them are two inches long root and tip and are just laying on top of the soil.
I have started to make holes and "plant" them. Is this the right thing to do?
They were sown onto damp compost and had a light sprinkling of vermiculite on them. Placed on a sunny window with foil backing.
If it helps types are---
CHILLIS
Early Green Jalepno
Hot Tepin
Joe Long F1
Nigels Outdoor Chilli
Superchili
SWEET PEPPER
Atris F1
King of the North
Big Banana
