I'm trying to decide on the second type of potatoes to grow, on a windy allotment site. In summer it is sunny but takes along time to warm up in the spring. I want something that is good for chips and crispy roast potatoes, anyone got any favs for this?

King Edwards also good all rounder but it is a maincrop whereas Kestrel is a second early. Second earlies don't need to be in the ground as long which is an important consideration if there is blight about.
