    Ha, that is sooo me I do the poking around in the compost all the time, and yes i do lose a few

      I've just had a poke around in the compost too.
      It was a single tomato seed that hasn't done anything for 12 days, so I've sown another nine. Could end up with ten of them.

      I also gave in this afternoon and pushed the seed cases off three of my lollipops - PW French Black, Minibel and Tumbling Tom. The leaves are looking a little deformed but that could be a result of having the seed cases on them for so long. Can't possibly be my rough handling...
      The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.
