Dorset Naga - How Big?

My first year growing Dorset Naga, but I was expecting a bigger fruit than what I got. Can anyone tell me if this is their normal size please.

From a quick play around on google, it says 2cm wide by 4cm long or less

Hi Nicos - Thanks for the info on the Dorset Naga's. Yes, have seen that guy on YouTube, he's a fool doing what he does with chillies.

The other chilli is Aji Lima by the way.

where they bought from an official seed merchant?
There was a few issues last year with wrong seeds
Still bet that one was tasty!

Easy to get the seeds here - Tesco's sell Dorset Naga's in the shops come summer!

Got to say I find them too hot, am sticking with habs. I can send you some self-saved Naga seeds if you'd like mcsee?

Even though they're small, watch out, they are nuts hot. Put a whole one in a pasta dish last summer and I couldn't eat any of it!

I have grown Dorset Naga chillis for a few years now. They are about the size of those in your photo and in terms of shape a cross between the two. I've never seen a yellow naga as they usually mature to an orange red colour.

I've grown them in the past. I'm having another go at them this year. I'm also growing Trinidad Scorpion amongst others. In the past my nagas have taken time to mature but one they've ripened they've been a dark orange colour and Atomic on the heat front.

Thanks everyone. I may give them a miss but thanks for the offer of seed Manda. The yellow fruit in the photo is an Aji Lima, which looks to be about the size of what the Dorset Naga's should be.

I'm not game to try them as I think they'll burn badly, but then I'm no hero with Chillies.

There hot...punchy...and they do taste of Lemon, zingy. Well worth a try.
