Will starting them off indoors and thinning them out indoors to one per module before planting out deter carrotfly? My reasoning is on the windowsill the fly won't be able to get up that high.

Carrots are not keen on being transplanted , usually they are sown straight in the ground, or if you have a spare dustbin you could sow into that.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

You could possibly get away with sowing and transplanting the round or stump rooted carrots indoors.....................My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order

I have planted seeds in small pots, tipped the whole lot out, broke up the seedlings and planted in bunches (if that makes sense). I then thinned out as they go bigger.
They did take, and were reasonable carrots. Might have been a fluke, but I have managed to transplant.
Reason I did this was patchy germination in my straight ground sowing.

Do they stop to check their make-up and then forget where they were going?
(Actually it works because it makes them reflect endlessly upon where they want to go...)There's no point reading history if you don't use the lessons it teaches.
