Moving house..whats best to grow before i move??

Im going to be moving home in August (not sure when in August), i've already started off leeks, cauliflower,chilli's,tomatoes and broad beans, which i started off before i found out i would be moving, but i still want to have as much of a full growing season as possible.I was wondering what can i plant to be harvested before i move and what should i be looking to put into pots that i can take with me.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated

We are moving a school garden in July so I'm doing the same there!

We are growing in morrison pots as much as we can - so nothing vine or climbing - so anything with dwarf or bush and with a height less than 3 ft....so that it can go in the van I'll be hiring for the job.

I've moved several times, and it's a right pain trying to move pots of plants & compost - it goes everywhere, and your 'helpers' aren't always very careful

I'm not sure I'd bother to move veg, just more expensive or permanent plants eg roses, flower bulbs

I normally grow my toms in morrisons pots too! i have tonnes of morrisons pots in my garage and b&q orange buckets which will be put to good use. Ima bit gutted as i have dug over a good size allotment in my garden complete with excellent rotted horse manure, i was really going to go for it this year!! Is there anything that wont do well in pots/buckets??
What can i still put in the ground and harvest before i go??

Let some non-growing veg person get their clean mitts on my veg.....I dont think so
All my veg (and garden gear) will be moved by me in my car and van if needed!! It doesnt bear thinking about if someone snapped one of my tom plants.....the drama!!

I grew 'The Sutton' dwarf broadies in B&Q 12L buckets - raised up with pots similar to the morrison bucket ones - crop was reasonable, not exceptional like the ones in the ground - presumably due to nutrient/water needs.

I'm putting peas and beans in the morrison's buckets, as well as courgettes, squashes etc; but sinking the buckets into the soil....

If you go to the term time harvest plan on the link below, look at the crops that can be harvested before July and put those in the ground - all the rest put into Pots...

I'd just grow what you normally grow using pots where possible. Moving house doesn't always happen when it's supposed to!

Where are you moving to? Can t you negotiate a right of access prior to completion to grow your veg?

If we're talking Morrisons flower buckets then chantenay carrots and half pint peas - I grew both last year with good results. Also radishes and salad leaves and how about strawberries in hanging baskets?
