Tomato Advice required

Black Cherry, Tigerella and Green Zebra for me, tasty and attractive for salads. Green Zebra is also amazing grilled. I'm still searching for a yellow/orange tomato that I like enough to grow again - this year's contender is Gold Nuggets.

This year we are going with:
Currant Sweet Pea - tiny tiny toms much smaller than cherry toms
Totem - really small compact plants on 10-12" high.
Cerise - long trusses of small cerise fruit
Marmande - large fruits but boy what a flavour, fantastic
Striped Stuffer - for stuffing!

I have just sown Marmande - so great to hear it tastes great as I have never grown it before.

Certainly one of our favourites
The plants are certainly stocky little devils BUT because the toms can be quite heavy make sure you stake/support them really well....

Another sungold recommendation here - fab flavour and good croppers.

Red Alert again here - great cropper and lovely toms. I liked Bloody Butcher last year too, but they varied a bit, so trying them again this year before I would recommend them.

Red Alert and Tigerella.Red Alert bushes were absolutely loaded with fruit.I'm trying some new varieties this year but definitely I'm going to come back to them.I'll back up Allison-too much watering is not good for toms.

What were the bad expieriences? I am growing Cour di bue and Sub Arctic this year, so would be interested. I have had some trouble germinating the latter, but have 4 healthy seedlings at the moment

1) Taste wasnt good... not good for salads
2) Cour di bue also suffers from surface splitting but tomato outlook was great
