Just a thought:
Will the preservatives double the cost of the wood?
If so will they double the life?
Taking the possible contamination of the soil into account, and acknowledging the extra Faff i having to replace the wood, just go for plain wood - maybe line to stop it rotting quite so quickly.
Even once it starts to rot its still going to retain the beds for a while - unless they are very deep.
