I've had rampant botritus problems even at 2ft spacing and at least 3ft space in the row, although it seems to depend on how dull cold and damp the summer is. I'm trying to increase overall tomato and pepper production this year so I'm going to space the larger varieties 3-4 ft apart in the ground and put some not so rampant tomato varieties and peppers in pots in between. I suspect the ones in pots will be more "controlled" by the pot size so things shouldn't get too messy.
Jiving on down to the beach to see the blue and the gray, seems to be all and it's rosy-it's a beautiful day!

OH keeps telling me 'we won't grow so many tomatoes next year', but when it comes to this time of year, sorting through the seed packets, and deciding what to grow, and what to give a miss. We do tend to grow as many.

We have a 20' x 12', and a 10' x 8' greenhouse, and they do tend to be packed with tomatoes, from cherry right up to beefsteak.

It is such a short season, and you can't help but make the most of it.
