Well, I spent a little time today in the greenhouse pottering - mainly because it was warm and sunny and I'm still feeling wobbly and I had to sit down after 10 mins....and I started working out which ones to save for me, which ones to give to schools and which ones to sell.

If any of you want rid of your spare tomato plants I can always send Grumpy and his size 13 boots round

The problem with rounded personalities is they don't tesselate.

          Grumpy's my husband Minamoo.

I sowed a too many tomato seeds in January and was wondering what to do with them... till today - when a tray containing 30 pots met one of his boots and did a rather impressive somersault

Oh noo! Look at it this way....it's a guilt free way to get rid of your plants. I don't know about you, but I can't bear to kill any of the little tom plants I've spent so very long nurturing. It feels wrong somehow. Yes...I know how silly that sounds.

I feel the same way. Even though the stems of some of them were broken I felt terrible putting them in the compost crock

              They're my babies...
