Put up the basic shape of my Pallet compost heaps, just need to add weed fabric round the sides to keep it in better and nail it together... without injuring myself

I made pretty much the same thing as you, I was advised not to line the pallets as the slots will let air in.
Sourced a replacement for lost bit of polytunnel and finished the erection of the frame. Laid 3ft x 2ft slabs down the middle. Crikey, these bleeps are heavier than I remembered. Will be buying replacement coachbolts tomorrow and some spikey plates to rejoin the baseboards.
Well I am always on this Forum Reading but stay lurking in the shadows. But today i will let you know what we have been up to . Always Up Allotment and have done loads But today have Cleaned out the greenhouse. Finally burnt the bonfire and finished Heightening the wooden fence. Sick of people coming on plot. ( the latest just breaking half a shed roof we was putting up on a New shed and had to leave for the night as was dark *sigh*). Looking Forward to more hard work tomar weather providing. .
My pepper seedlings have come up, lovely to see. The sweet pea 'Champagne' seeds are still refusing to germinate though, even though I've 'chipped' the last five and put them in layers of sodden kitchen towel in the heated propagator. I've tried everything now. I feel a new proverb coming on 'you can lead a seed to water but you can't make it sprout'. Or summat like that.
My Autumn 2016 blog entry, all about Plum Glut Guilt:
Just had a break of sun after hours of fog so got out in the garden and fixed the trellising to the fence for my pea plants might sow a few more radishes as my first lot are looking strong and growing well
....started mowing lawns but ran out of petrol and can't find the can anywhere
Have managed to put shallots in trays to bring them on before transplanting into the ground.
