Spent Three hours digging with frequent trips to the shed for cups of tea. Decided that I had seriously miscalculated the planting time for our christmas spuds - looking like they'll be ready in a couple of weeksand sat for awhile in the big polytunnel admiring the pepper trees, which are approx. 5ft high and heaving with peppers.
Was surpised to find several flowers on the black strawberry plants in the polytunnel.
Harvested a few tomatoes, dwarf french beans, some chillies and a few brocolli florets. What do you get if you divide the circumference of a pumpkin by its diameter?
Pumpkin pi.

Spent a couple of hours on the plot digging/weeding. Finally looks like I'm getting somewhere now. Looking forward to next week when I can get down and do some more.

Got my sweet peas sown for next year. Well, the first batch anyway, I'll probably start off some more in the spring.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Once they are about 6 or 8 inches tall I nip the tops out, that's all they need.

Went foraging for some chestnuts and walnuts to go with the hazelnuts for my grandad, note the picture in the background we got him a couple of years ago! 😃

Kicked on with the "Feeding Station"
Well pleased with "My Little Old Self"
Shelf doubles up as a plunger for the feeders as well as a shelf for watering cans!
And the winter digging commences! been a really "Chillaxing Saturday""Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"
