    • It's been to horrible to do anything outside. The sun's come out now it's too late to do anything, but the forecast is better (drier) for tomorrow.

              • watered where needed, shuffled round all the plants to attempt to squish more stuff in, swore alot at the bl**dy snails that had a lovely supper of sunflowers on me so slug pelleted as well. Lit my heater in the greenhouse for tonight. Trying to work out how to position beds or even if i should have beds on my plot.

                  • In my dream I blanched, bagged and froze all the PSB and calabrese I had grown. Problem is I haven't. Made me feel productive though for a while

                            • Earthed up my spuds, hoed around the peas (finally the surface was dry enough). I've got such lush sow thistle coming up all over the place, so the rest of the time was spent pulling it up. Still loads to go and I need to get them out before they flower. I read you can eat them, but no one at home was particularly enthusiastic when I suggested it.
I could not live without a garden, it is my place to unwind and recover, to marvel at the power of all growing things, even weeds!

Cleared the old leek bed of weeds, chicken pellets and compost ready for beans.......cleared out nettles and goosegrass from the hedges ...added some more stones around the pond .....earthed up tatties .......
At home potted on toms ....watered as and where .......
