Same here! Moved some tomato seedlings permanently to the lean-to gh the other day. They aren't looking too good, but it had to be done as the windowsills in the house are at bursting point.

          • Made 44 newspaper pots. I love them!

Sowed into said pots: 13 PSB; 4 All Yr Round Cauliflower; 3 Perpetual Spinach; 8 Dwarf Curly Kale; 16 nasturtiums.

Also planted some All Yr Round lettuce and put the last of the Arran Pilot spuds in a potato bag as I'd run out of room at the allotment.

                      • sowed some 'Thousand headed kale' in a pot in the greenhouse. These are mainly for the chooks. Unwrapped the bubblewrap from the peach tree in the greenhouse and hand pollinated the pink flowers.
Someone had chucked out a load of blue and yellow polyanthus. As these are a perennial I 'seconded' them and planted them up in a large pot at the allotment. Still quite a bit of flowwer to come on them yet methinks and hopefully more flower next year!
Hoed around my garlic plants in the greenhouse before giving them a feed of 'golden drench'. (Pee'd in a watering can, filled up with water and watered them.)

                          • More bramble clearance. Very satisfying when they come out trailing their long yellow roots behind them

                              • This morning's check of the cold frame revealed radish, pea, and kale seedlings , and a slime trail . Thankfully the seedlings were still there tonight! The world is now one slug poorer - hope it was the culprit.
                                March is the new winter.
