Planted a thornless Blackberry that I'd rooted from next doors plant, no idea what variety because he'd had it given him.

Ordered a lorry load of blended farmyard manure - thats my weekend ruined :-)

Lottie was vandalised yesterday! Gate broken down, shed broken into, tools strewn everywhere, loppers used to smash next door's shed window. Quite a shock but thank goodness no damage was done to the fruit trees and nothing was stolen. Have repaired everything now...

Too cold wet and windy for gardening, so I washed the dining room curtains, cleaned the windows and washed down the paintwork.

Put down the first of my pebble paths around the raised beds. Sloshing about in the mud was great fun and they look amazing

Finished off the cold frame that I made from a double glazed window and decking. I can add or remove sections if needed,

Also finished my water harvesting complex.

Made some nut cookies, and a very good Thai style curry.

Collected another 30 bags of straw/horse manure to spread out over the beds next time I'm off from work. They'll rot down over winter and be just about right next spring!! The more strawey stuff will go in the compost heap!

Yes I called, from the top of my kitchen cupboard, decided to have a clear out and clean! Chucked out several frying pans and a sandwich maker, and wondered why I ever did buy a red wine cooler, never used, the receipt was still inside it, had been a 'half price bargain' , bought in 2007!

Yesterday ...washed out the inside of the greenhouse. The outside needs doing too, but that can wait until the spring. I hate cleaning windows.

I am going to ruthlessly take everything in our spare room to either the charity shop, book bank or the tip.
