Sowed 4 cabbages and attempted to alter my masterplan due to rearrangement of my patio raised beds. Not finished yet - still juggling various pots, fruit cages and bags of potatoes, thankfully only on paper!A life is like a garden. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. Took ownership of a kiwi (thanks Allincontainers) and planted it in a large pot, went to B&Q to pick up ericaceous and multipurpose compost, potted on a blueberry bush, did some other bits and bobs then prepared the house for the arrival of my mum and dads boxer who I'm looking after for the next monthLast edited by GardenGayle; 23-02-2014, 09:09 PM.

Picked the last offerings from my Calibrese plants, enough for a meal tonight. Plants now consigned to compost bin. Amazing how a sunny day lifts the spirits and gets you gardening. I have been busy telling my lovely husband my wishes for the garden this year. Quick question, when should we re fertilize our troughs and pots. Now or nearer planting time?

Got stuck in traffic, finally made it to Morrisons, got some of those 'flower buckets' you have been talking about, except down ere they charge you, £1.00 for 8, so still ok. Moved some sweet peas outside, now off to plot to prepare somewhere to plant them. Potted up 6 tiny tomato seedlings, still indoors.
Beautiful sunny afternoon, lovelyDottyR
