Spent a couple of hours at the allotment working on my main path edging . . . it's all I could manage, the wind was too cold for comfort next few days should be better
I fell out with my shed. Well actually took off the roof . In the really heavy snow a few years back, the roof sagged badly because of the way it was constructed. Ever since, water has pooled on the roof and today I bit the bullet and decided to repair it. Well when I say repair, I mean reconstruct. Instead of one central joist and two side joists running north to south, I now have 5 joists in total running east to west(or west to east ) . Much stronger and more sensible. I used plywood to reclad it instead of pressed sawdust which was used originally so all in all I'm pretty happy with what I achieved. I still have to felt it but I've temporarily covered it with heavy gauge polythene meantime. I'll also finish it with low profile aluminium sheeting to make it maintenance free in future.

I do love it when a plan comes together
You had more success with your shed than I did with my greenhouse
Decided finally time, to redo, my garden managed to get myself enough free timber to build so raised beds... Haven't been able to do much of nothing for past few months as I stupidly injured myself in work so going to be playing catch up for a bit.
Ordered myself a polytunnel, started leveling off area where it's going to live, replaced weed control stuff around my new shed, ( laughed my self daft, after my wife flee,d shed after she found a mouse in aforementioned shed, apparently it jumped out of one of my tool bags, will now have to find out where it got in though)
Started the back breaking job of moving all Chipping's out of the way ready for my raised beds.
Now sat drinking a well earned beer drawing out my plans for the next few months.

Braved the elements & erected the kite (again).........anyways it's all secured, managed to fit some DIY guttering. Timbered the beds & chipped the central path. Drilled & fitted a wine box tap to the water butt.
