I know this is not part of this topic, but can anyone help ?
I have loads of plot and veg pics to share, but I'm having trouble uploading Picts from my new ipad.
I get to the stage of pressing the upload button in blue, then nothing ?
Anyone having similar problems with the ipad ?

Wetwalnut! The forum app doesn't let ya post pic's from your pad!
Go into "Safari" n log in as a normal website! Job sorted!
Also noticed if folk post pictures through their IPhone using the "App" they are miniature!
Surely you "Mod's" can "Check This Out" Please!!!!!!!"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad"

Hi, photos won't upload from iPad, unfortunately, but the mods are aware of this and hopefully this problem will get sorted soon.
They will upload from your iPhone, tho, but will be small, but does work.DottyR

Oh no, that's such a shame, everything gone? Can nothing be salvaged?
You wouldn't have thought that cud happen so early in the year. But as you say, there is time to re-sow, what a pain tho.DottyR

Seedling management night tonight.
3 x Dahlia yams and 2 x Queensland Arrowroot transferred to 7" pots. There was simply no way they were going to survive in their "normal" pots till mid-May or whenever I decide it's safe to go outside. Inca bery went in a bigger pot too.
The outdoor fruiting chillis still hadn't sprouted so they got trashed. No major problem as I had a huge surplus of the Pyramid Rainbow chilli anyway. I only need five of those, so I have kept 6 (1 as a spare), and seperated another 6 into separate pots and gifted them away.
Giant leeks were also separated, and I have kept three of those (two to grow and one spare) and binned the weaker ones. The Hyacinth beans needed separating too. I had sown 12 of those on the 7th of this month and tonight after only 5 days 10 had sprouted and were 3" high I have got those separated out, but although I only need 6 of those for the final location, I have retained a few spares too.
This has left me with a REAL shortage of windowsill space. I have moved my 72 cell window prop with my white alpine strawbs to the north facing kitchen window for tonight, as I plan on getting those and my 36 normal strawbs (already outside) in position this weekend. I think I can just about get everything else I need on the two south facing sills, though I might need to risk putting one or two north facing and hop for the best.
The biggest problem is that this leaves me zero space for bringing on any other seedlings indoors I think I'll have to run the risk of not sowing them till it's time for everything to go outdoors, then decide if I'm going to sow in situ or start them off on the newly vacated sills. The other worry is that other stuff might need to be potted on again before it's "safe" outdoors

Second weekend - Josh had a great time weeding round his 'fruit' tree and when I was digging I found a strawberry patch. If my veggies grow as well as my weeds...
